Chelsea shot stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga was understood to be unhappy at how the club welcomed new signing Robert Sanchez.
Arrizabalaga has since completed a loan move to Real Madrid for the entire season.
He will replace the injured Thibaut Courtois for Los Blancos, while the Blues have Sanchez as their new no.1.
Per The Mail, Arrizabalaga felt that Sanchez is the man who the club's coaching staff wanted as their first-choice keeper this season.
The Blues' goalkeeper coach was previously at Brighton, where he worked with Sanchez.
Kepa believes a year on loan will give him a chance to resurrect his career in Spain.
