Bologna want a substantial figure to sell Riccardo Calafiori, also because they have to give a chunk of it to Basel, but Juventus could get there thanks to a few makeweights. The valuation of the defender is around €30M, La Gazzetta dello Sport informed.

Should they hire Thiago Motta, the Bianconeri would try to bring some of his men with him. Lewis Ferguson is also a strong candidate to possibly join the boss in Turin. The Old Lady is ready to dangle Fabio Miretti and Hans Nicolussi Caviglia, for starters.

Bologna were among the sides that showed interest in Moise Kean in January, and he could be thrown into the Calafiori deal, TuttoSport relayed.

According to DAZN’s Orazio Accomando, the Roma youth product is the Bianconeri’s top defensive target regardless of their choice on the bench. They have opened talks with his team and entourage to try setting up the deal.

Our Take on Juventus and Calafiori

Bologna have been willing to play ball with convoluted formulas, which surely helps the prospective buyers that have a fairly limited budget to spread across multiple purchases. Miretti hasn’t had a great season and would benefit from a turn elsewhere, but they could end up regretting giving up control over him. Hans Nicolussi Caviglia is more expendable but a lot less valuable. Kean probably earns too much for smaller teams. Still, the Bianconeri have several interesting candidates among their many talents.
