Jerome Boateng’s ex-girlfriend Kasia Lenhardt found dead a week after couple split

The ex-girlfriend of professional footballer Jerome Boateng, Kasia Lenhardt, has been found dead in her Berlin apartment just one week after the couple’s very public spilt.

According to the Daily Mail, the Berlin police have said they are not treating the death as suspicious.

Kasia had been dating the Bayern Munich player for 15 months before the pair had a very public split using social media and the press to exchange blows.

The 32-year-old defender accused Kasia of sabotaging his relationship with his ex-girlfriend – before Boateng and Lenhardt started dating – and of blackmailing him into staying with her.

There were accusations on both sides though as Lenhardy had branded Boateng as ‘the devil’ and vowed to ‘speak up’ and ‘fight back’ once she had recovered from the break-up.

The 25-year-old had Boateng’s name tattooed on her ripcage and was the mother of one. The news of her passing was confirmed on Instagram on Wednesday when a tribute post was published by one of Lenhardt’s model friends which said: ‘I hope the truth comes out. I know how much you wished it would’
