Inter‘s Marko Arnautovic and Carlos Augusto have suffered muscle injuries but while the Brazilian may return against Napoli, the Austrian striker could face a month on the sidelines.

Inter have released an official injury update on Arnautovic and Carlos Augusto who suffered injuries in a Serie A game against Bologna on Friday.

“Marko Arnautovic and Carlos Augusto underwent medical tests this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano,” the Nerazzurri said in a statement.

“The Austrian has suffered a muscle strain in the right thigh, while the Brazilian winger has calf strain in the right leg. The two Nerazzurri players will be re-assessed in the following days.”

According to Inter reporter Pasquale Guarro, Arnautovic could remain out of action for circa one month, while Carlos Augusto could return against Napoli next week.

Both players will miss Wednesday’s Champions League Round of 16 decider against Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital.
