England star Harry Kane has scored 37 goals for Bayern Munich this season, more than all centre-forwards recently called up by Luciano Spalletti.

Sky Sport Italia has compared Kane’s stats this season with those of Italy strikers recently called up by Spalletti, highlighting that the England international has found the net more times than all the Azzurri combined.

In his first season at Bayern Munich, Kane has scored 37 goals across all competitions, while Lorenzo Lucca (7), Gianluca Scamacca (6), Ciro Immobile (6), Mateo Retegui (6) and Giacomo Raspadori (4) have managed 29 together.

Scamacca and Immobile were not even called up by Spalletti for games against Venezuela and Ecuador in March.

Kane has also scored more goals than all Italy wingers combined: Federico Chiesa (7), Vincenzo Grifo (11), Riccardo Orsolini (9), Mattia Zaccagni (4) and Nicolò Zaniolo (2).

Italy’s most prolific goal scorer in Serie A is Sassuolo‘s Andrea Pinamonti, who has netted nine times but has never been called up by Spalletti.
