Alasdair Gold has given Tottenham a major boost ahead of the Brighton game.

In a short clip shared on X from a recent training session, several key players who were doubtful for the upcoming game were spotted taking to the pitch.

Gold, the Spurs correspondent for Football London, highlighted the presence of Yves Bissouma, Heung-min Son, and Giovani Lo Celso, all of whom were uncertain to feature against Brighton.

Bissouma and Son have recently returned from international duty, with Bissouma having reportedly suffered from Malaria during the AFCON tournament. Son, on the other hand, returned only yesterday from the Asian Cup after being eliminated in the semi-finals by Jordan.

While it remains to be seen whether they will be immediately included in the starting line-up, their return to training is a positive sign.

Notably, Lo Celso, who had been sidelined with a complicated injury since the Burnley game, was also spotted in training, indicating progress in his recovery.

With this trio back in training, Gold believes it could be the biggest squad available to Ange Postecoglou since the beginning of the season.

Gold shared on X:

“Son, Bissouma and seemingly Lo Celso all involved. Might just be the biggest squad Postecoglou has had to work with since the season began.”

This development will undoubtedly serve as a significant boost for Postecoglou as he strives to secure a top-four finish in the remaining stages of the season.
