Glowing report: Spurs loanee won’t be 'short of offers' says Rob Guest

Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon is currently on loan at the Championship club Leeds United.

The 26-year-old defender has been outstanding for Leeds and he has formed a quality partnership with Ethan Ampadu at the heart of the defence.

The Welsh international is certainly one of the best defenders in the Championship right now and Rob Guest from Football London believes that the player won’t be ‘short of offers’ in the summer.

He has been linked with the permanent move to Leeds United but the championship could struggle to afford him if Tottenham refused to sell him for a reasonable price. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months.

Tottenham could easily look to demand the premium for him based on his performances so far this season.

The defender does not have a future at the North London club and he will hope to leave them permanently in the summer. He will want to join a club where he can play regular first team football. The opportunity to join Leeds on a permanent basis could be an attractive one for him.

Rodon will be focused on helping the Championship club secure promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see if the Whites can finish the season strongly and return to the top flight in the summer.
