Girona midfielder Aleix Garcia could not guarantee staying when speaking with a fan on the weekend.

Garcia is the subject of interest this month from Barcelona, where they see him as cover for ACL victim Gavi.

It's suggested Barca would be open to discussing a permanent transfer for Eric Garcia as part of the deal.

And speaking with fans, Garcia was recorded on social media refusing to deny the story.

"The Bara thing is nonsense, right?" the fan asks. After a few seconds reflecting, and while he signs autographs, the midfielder responds briefly.

"I don't know," he states.
