Gallas: Arsenal lack title winning character

Former Arsenal captain William Gallas has written his old team off as a title contender.

Gallas says the Gunners fail to win the tough games.

"Arsenal are capable of winning important games, such as the one against Man City, but we expect them to drop points, and we don't know why," he told Lord Ping.

"The Newcastle game was what it was. We all know how tough it is to play against Newcastle, but Arsenal had to leave with the three points. That's the difference between a team with a lot of character and a team without it.

"Man City have a lot of character and we saw that in their wins over Manchester United and Sheffield United, and the latter was in the last minute."
