Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha has laughed off the antics of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.

The pair are good friends and Portugal teammates.

He told the Daily Mail: "I remember Bruno when we played against Manchester United in November. I got a yellow card. I didn't touch him and he was screaming. It's normal for him (laughs).

"In the next play, he had the ball and he disarmed me. It wasn't a foul, but I shouted too, like he did. The referee signaled a foul, but didn't show him a card. It's special when this happens on the pitch.

"The Portuguese players have a good relationship even off the field. We keep in touch and after games we talk in the dressing room. That's what football offers us too."

On Fulham boss Marco Silva, he said: "A lot of my success is due to Marco. He's had a huge impact. He brings a competitive side. He wants us to fight in the same way against Burnley as we would against Arsenal or Liverpool. When we're relaxed, like we were with Nottingham Forest, he goes completely crazy. It shows passion."
