Fiorentina chief Joe Barone says UEFA president Alexander Ceferin was "embarrassed" by West Ham fans on Wednesday night.

Barone admits Fiorentina complained furiously to Ceferin after skipper Cristiano Biraghi was struck by a missile thrown from the West Ham end before halftime during the Europa Conference League final.

Barone said, "Ceferin was embarrassed, he also had a dialogue with the president of the English federation. I won't go into details but there was a very strong issue: the world is watching the match, it's embarrassing see certain things happen.

"I know that UEFA is very active, but I don't know the decision. We made ourselves heard, we took action immediately, Rocco (Commisso, president) was next to Ceferin. West Ham distanced themselves with a statement, now we wait ...

"Instead, I am proud of our behavior, we need to talk about this. And then, I want to add: I thank all the players who have represented Fiorentina and the city this year, they have given their all. The group is united, we have created a family and it all starts with the president. Furthermore, for four years we have never touched the prices of tickets and season tickets, no increase.

"The moment is difficult, but for the next season I am sorry to announce that there will be a tweak on the season ticket and on the prices of the individual tickets."
