Bayern Munich are planning to pursue a move for AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez if they have to sell Alphonso Davies to Real Madrid this summer.

According to German journalist Christian Falk on X, the Bundesliga champions are preparing for a situation in which they will not have Canadian fullback Davies.

There have been reports claiming that Davies already has an agreement in place with Real Madrid for a summer move, but a recent meeting between the player’s agent and Bayern’s sporting director did not confirm whether this is the case or not.

It is said that if Davies and Bayern are unable to agree on a new contract, the German side will cut their losses and agree on a move to Real Madrid.

That would leave them in need of a new left-back and their first target would be Hernandez, in what would be a major blow to Milan given his importance to the team.

Lucas Hernandez, Theo’s brother, used to play at Bayern but did not manage to show his best. He has since moved to PSG and is playing much better, so Milan could perhaps hope that Hernandez will not entertain a move to the Bundesliga side based on his brother’s experience.
