Exclusive claims Chelsea already want to hand €3m winger a new deal to potentially secure big profit in the future

We were a little unsure about the decision to sign Omari Hutchinson on a free transfer from Arsenal’s academy in summer 2022.

Deals which look too good to be true often are, but after a year in our own youth system he’s gone to Ipswich in the Championship where he’s gradually making a name for himself. Transfermarkt have already upgraded him to a value of €3m on their site.

Now Bobby Vincent of Football.London is reporting exclusively that Chelsea and the winger are already thinking about his future, with talks yet to begin on a new contract. The deal he signed to move from Arsenal expires in just 18 months, so expect things to move fast if Chelsea are sure they want to keep him.

His chances of ever breaking into our first team don’t look great, but another solid 6 months in the Championship and another good loan next year could see his value shoot up, and this particular speculation could prove to be a profitable one.
