Ex-Southampton attacker Walcott training with Reading

Former Arsenal and Southampton star Theo Walcott has dropped down to League One for training.

The former England international, who is now 34, spent 18 years at the top of the game in the Premier League.

Now he is working with Reading, who are in League One, as he looks to build up his fitness.

Per the Reading Chronicle, Walcott has not been offered a contract by the Madejski Stadium club.

But he may impress enough to earn such a deal, while offers from Premier League or Championship clubs may also be forthcoming.

Walcott must still believe that he has the quality to shine on the biggest stage.
