Everton youngster Jack Butler happy with pro deal: Dad's happy

Everton youngster Jack Butler has signed a first professional contract with the club.

The 17-year-old, who has been with the Toffees since the age of 13, has put pen to paper on a pro deal.

A part of Leighton Baines' squad at youth level, Butler is hoping that he can push forward to the U21s.

My dad also supports Everton so it is great - I love it all. I'm hoping to spend as many years as I can here. I just can't wait for the new season and to get started now.

I'm also hoping I can play as many games as I can for the Under-21 and potentially catch the eye of Sean Dyche to train with the senior team, too."
