Real Madrid have announced the departure of Sergio Arribas to Almeria.

The midfielder leaves Real after spending his entire career with Real Madrid.

They announced on Wednesday:

"Real Madrid C. F. and U. D. Almera have reached an agreement on the transfer of Sergio Arribas.

"Arribas joined the Madrid youth system in 2012 when he was just 10 years old. In 2020, he won the Youth League with the club's under-19s team. He has made 14 appearances for the Real Madrid first team since making his debut in September 2020 in an official match. Arribas has spent the last three seasons playing for Castilla, where he has scored more than 40 goals and has been the team's top scorer in the last two seasons.

"Real Madrid would like to express its appreciation and gratitude to Arribas and wishes him and his family the best of luck in this new stage."
