Desailly: Arsenal defender Saliba NO outstanding talent

Former Chelsea and France captain Marcel Desailly admits he remains to be convinced by Arsenal defender William Saliba.

While he is celebrated in England, Saliba isn't so highly rated by his fellow Frenchman, Desailly.

"I don't think his individual qualities are above average. He is at a very, very high level but not outstanding," Desailly told Get French Football News.

"So before he absorbs the international level, he has to acclimatise (to the relations in the national team).

"As it stands, I don't know how to pair him with Konat or Upamecano so he can excel and develop all the talent he has in him."
