‘Confirmed to Me From England’: Reliable Journalist Drops Huge Man Utd Transfer Update With ‘Spectacular’ Player ‘Desperate to Leave’ Club

Manchester United are in the middle of a challenging Premier League campaign. Sitting eighth in the table, the Red Devils are within striking distance of West Ham United’s sixth-place perch, but could just as easily fall into the middle of the table. Florian Plettenberg is one of several media sources reporting that the English giants could part ways with Jadon Sancho.

Jadon Sancho Eyeing Manchester United Exit As Borussia Dortmund Return Appears Possible

Clubs Actively Working on a Loan

The Sky Sports Germany journalist stated that Jadon Sancho is nearing his long-awaited departure from Old Trafford. Ever since a fallout between him and Ten Hag, the Englishman has been riding the bench as his refusal to play under the Dutchman has been a headache for club officials. Plettenberg reported that “ManUtd and Borussia Dortmund are actively working on a loan – as confirmed to me from England.”

Sancho arrived in Manchester from the Bundesliga outfit in 2021. After seemingly finding his footing last season, the 23-year-old has been sidelined for the majority of this campaign after his disagreement with Ten Hag. Currently United and Dortmund are holding “talks about a six-month-loan.”

Regardless of whether or not Germany is the final destination, Plettenberg noted that “Sancho has to leave ManUtd in winter.” Refusing to play under Ten Hag leaves the two parties no choice but to seek a transfer. The question is if the Red Devils want a loan. For the player’s part, he “is eager to return to Dortmund,” and “desperate to leave Old Trafford.”

Fabrizio Romano Report

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted early Wednesday morning that Sancho was “pushing a lot to join BVB as soon as possible.” A graduate of Manchester City’s youth academy, the 23-year-old left for Germany in 2017 to find consistent playing time. There he made a name for himself, eventually tempting United to bid for him.

Romano stated that the deal was “more than concrete at this stage.” Sancho, who has been described as a “spectacular player,” will be hoping to get the deal done soon. United have already grown used to life without the young player. Dortmund, if the Englishman can return to form, will be hoping to utilize his skills to secure a deep run in this season’s Champions League.

United to Pay Two-Thirds of Jadon Sancho’s Salary?

Paul Hirst and Constantin Eckner were two writers who reported on the Sancho news in an article for The Times. Dortmund, according to their report, does not want to pay the majority of the former U17 World Cup winner’s salary. Known for their good business in the transfer market, the Westphalia outfit “have offered to pay only a third of his salary.”

Under those conditions, “United would pay Sancho £5.2 million for the duration of the loan.” Dortmund would pay the other £2.6 million. A move between the two former Champions League winners appears likely. The Englishman will be hoping it comes as quickly as possible, to secure him more time on the pitch.
