Chelsea winger reveals Ashley Cole is personally coaching him

Chelsea legend Ashley Cole is helping out Noni Madueke, according to the Chelsea winger himself.

Madueke was talking to Chelsea’s 5th stand app, where he revealed that Cole is helping him with trying to score and assist more.

The winger knows his own qualities, pointing out his ability to take people on in one one-on-one situations, but realises he needs to improve on the end product afterward.

By knowing his own weaknesses and showing a desire to improve, Madueke is showing maturity at a young age that not many other players have. Sure, you can point to the recent incident where he filmed himself partying whilst injured, earning him a disciplinary handed out by Mauricio Pochettino behind the scenes which later turned public, but overall, he looks like he has a good head on his shoulders.

Chelsea legend Cole works with Noni as part of the under-21 England team set up, where he is an assistant coach to manager Lee Carsley.
