Chelsea in talks with Southampton right-back Kyle Walker-Peters

Chelsea are said to have spoken with the representatives of Southampton right-back Kyle Walker-Peters.

The defender is among several players the Blues are targeting for summer moves.

Per football.london, the injury problems being experienced by Reece James are troubling the club.

Chelsea may move for a new right-back to compete with Malo Gusto, if James cannot prove his fitness this season.

In fact, a move for Walker-Peters could even be accelerated to this January window.

The source adds that he is available for roughly 30 million from the Saints this month.
