'Chelsea are confident' of completing exciting transfer that feels very close now
IPA

Chelsea are reportedly confident of completing one very exciting transfer that now feels like it is very close to being complete.

Blues fans will now be patiently waiting for the ‘here we go’ from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, and that feels like it is right around the corner.

Chelsea are expected to be busy this summer during the transfer window with a number of positions being looked at. They are still continuing to be linked with a move to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, although that deal could now prove to be too expensive for them to go through with, unless of course they can offer players in as part of said deal.

But as well as looking to strengthen the current squad, they will also be looking at players for the near future as well, as these new owners have been doing since the day they arrived at the club. They are clearly building for the future, and signing top young talents like Kendry Paez will surely be a risk worth taking. Paez is already a Chelsea owned player, and they are now looking to add to that calibre with another rising star, Estevao Willian.

This one has really built up during the course of this week, and as we reported yesterday, the Chelsea hierarchy expect this deal to get done.

Fabrizio Romano has backed that up with his latest report on Willian, on his Here We Go Podcast out yesterday evening.

He says that Chelsea are confident of making the Estêvão Willian deal happen soon.

It’s an exciting transfer and anyone involved or close to Willian has been raving about his potential. He most certainly seems to be the next biggest talent to come out of Brazil with a lot of belief in him. Comparisons to the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar have already been made.
