Brighton midfielder joins England U21 coaching staff

Brighton midfielder Adam Lallana has joined the England U21 coaching staff.

Lallana remains a key member at Brighton, but manager Roberto de Zerbi has give him the all-clear to be part of England U21 coach Lee Carsley's backroom team.

The veteran midfielder was assistant to caretaker manager Andrew Crofts last season after Graham Potter left Brighton for Chelsea.

Lallana steps in after Joleon Lescott resigned from his role last month.

The Times reports he will be at England U21s' next three camps.
