Brighton boss De Zerbi happy with players for Everton draw

Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi was happy with his players after their 1-1 draw at Everton.

The Seagulls needed an Ashley Young own goal to earn the point on the day.

"I'm really proud of the performance; we are not in a brilliant moment," said De Zerbi. "We have injuries and young players. It is a good point/ We are fighting.

"We dominated the game but to win you need to shoot and score; we are not shooting enough to win the games. We had the chances to score and we made mistakes. We have played Man City, Liverpool and Aston Villa, we deserved to win against Fulham.

"We lost big players in the transfer market. plus [Danny] Welbeck. [Julio] Encso, [Solly] March. to injury. I'd like to see the how other teams would play if they lost three players in the transfer market and to injury."
