Barcelona great Gerard Pique: I believe Xavi will stay

Barcelona great Gerard Pique says Xavi could yet stay next season.

Xavi will step down as Barca coach at the end of the campaign.

But after Barca's win at Atletico Madrid, Pique told Timesport: "I don't think that Xavi's decision is final.

"I believe that in the end he will stay. I don't hear from him every day, but we have spoken several times. I wish the best for him because it would certainly be the best thing for the club too."

Barca are eight points behind LaLiga leaders Real Madrid and will meet PSG in the Champions League quarterfinals.
