Aston Villa announce Ashley Young leaving

Aston Villa have announced Ashley Young is leaving.

The veteran fullback is being allowed to come off contract at the end of next month.

The 37 year-old is expected to play on next season.

Villa said in a statement this morning: "Aston Villa can confirm that @Youngy18 will be leaving the club upon the expiration of his contract.

"Everyone at Aston Villa would like to sincerely thank Ashley for his service to the club and wish him all the very best in his future endeavours."
