Aouar admits Mourinho key to Roma move

Houssem Aouar admits Jose Mourinho had a big say on his move to Roma.

The former Lyon midfielder joined Roma this summer.

He told Il Corriere dello Sport: Mourinho was fundamental for my move to Roma, I couldn't lose the opportunity to be coached by a phenomenon.

Pinto has shown that he really wants me. But when you live here it's easier to convince someone, the real attraction is Rome.

I'm an ambitious person and I've always aimed to play in a great team, now that I've got there, I have to prove I deserve it.
