Al-Ettifaq coach Gerrard returning to Villa for Coutinho

Aston Villa could be set to sell one of their fringe midfielders for a significant fee.

The Premier League club are happy to move on from Brazilian attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Per The Express, a move to Saudi Arabia is a strong possibility for Coutinho this summer.

The man who signed him for Villa, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, is now in charge at Al-Ettifaq FC.

Coutinho and Spanish striker Alvaro Morata are said to be targets for the Saudi Pro League club.

Coutinho is presently in Brazil, trailing on his own with a fitness coach to remain sharp for the new season.
