AC Milan captain Davide Calabria admits they lacked sharpness in front of goal in defeat to Inter Milan.

A 1-0 Champions League semifinal second-leg win saw Inter reach the final 3-0 on aggregate.

Calabria said: "We created, but we weren't able to finish. A goal would have changed the game: it's a shame, but we played a good game today. Congratulations to Inter, they scored in both games and we have to learn and qualify for the next Champions League.

"No one expected to reach the semi-finals, it burns because it was a derby but we are missing something to win this competition.

"Lifting the Champions League was a dream. Now our goal is to get to the next edition of the Champions League: there are better-equipped teams and we'll sum up at the end of the season.

"The team has given everything, but others have done better than us in the details. Let's think about finishing the championship well."
