RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks.

A report from BILD claims that the 20-year-old Slovenian striker has attracted the attention of multiple Premier League clubs with his performances and clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on him.

They will face competition from the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona as well. The 20-year-old striker has a €50 million release clause in his contract which can be activated at the end of the season and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal and Liverpool are prepared to pay up.

Arsenal need to bring in another goalscorer who can compete with Gabriel Jesus for the starting spot. The Brazilian international has not been able to score goals consistently with just four strikes in the Premier League this season.

Sesko could develop into a quality Premier League striker with the right guidance and he could solve Arsenal’s goal scoring problems.

The talented young Slovenian striker has 10 goals across all competitions so far this season. He’s likely to improve with coaching and experience. Playing alongside better players will bring out the best in him and help him improve his numbers.

Similarly, Liverpool could use more depth in the attack as well. The Reds could lose Mohamed Salah at the end of the season, and although Sesko is not a natural replacement for the Egyptian, he will certainly help share the goalscoring burden.

The two English clubs certainly have the resources to pay €50 million for him and it remains to be seen where the player ends up.
