Dominant boardercross competitor, Brenna Huckaby, just added to her awards and accolades by earning the 2024 Overall Snowboard Cross Crystal Globe on the Para Snowboard World Cup.

The US Para Snowboard Team announced the huge accomplishment today, noting Brenna's 8 podiums, 5 wins--and the season's not even over, yet!

Brenna shared her excitement on Instagram, saying, "Super pumped about winning this season's snowboard cross overall crystal globe. I am super proud of my progress & thankful for my coaches helping make this happen!" She also thanked sponsor, Athleta, and everyone that has helped her make this season so successful.

Brenna was introduced to para snowboarding in 2013 after losing her right leg to cancer when she was 14. She immediately fell in love with it and became a force on the Para Snowboard World Cup quickly. She is a multi-time Paralympian, making her debut in 2018 in PyeongChang and earning two gold medals. In the 2022 Paralympic Games, Brenna added a gold and a bronze.

In additional, Brenna is a vocal advocate for the disability community, working to increase disability representation and inclusion, both in sports and in all aspects of society. She is a role model and speaks passionately about being a parent (she has two daughters), mental health, and body positivity. She resides in Utah with her family.
