Frost Reigns Supreme in Del Rio Showdown

The 46th George Paul Memorial Xtreme Bull Riding, held in Del Rio, Texas, on April 26-27, concluded as ProRodeo's elite cowboys faced off against some of the most formidable bulls in the sport.

In the first round, Creek Young, a three-time NFR qualifier hailing from Rogersville, Mo., surged ahead with an impressive 88.5-point ride aboard Stockyards ProRodeo's Jag Metals Tucker Brown, netting $4,801.

Young currently leads the PRCA World Standings with season earnings totaling $100,148.71, maintaining a significant lead of over $12,000 ahead of Clayton Sellers from Wildwood, Fla.

Following closely behind, four-time NFR qualifier Josh Frost of Randlett, Utah, secured second place with an 88-point ride, earning $3,681, while NFR qualifier Chase Dougherty from Canby, Ore., claimed the third spot with a score of 87.5, pocketing $2,721.

In the finals, Frost clinched the top position with an outstanding 91-point ride aboard Sutton Rodeos' Schott In The Dark, adding $3,841 to his winnings.

Roscoe Jarboe, a five-time NFR qualifier from New Plymouth, Idaho, secured second place with an 88-point ride, earning $2,987, followed by Cooper James of Erda, Utah, in third place with a score of 87.5, taking home $2,240.

Overall, Frost emerged as the champion with a combined score of 179 points on two head, earning a total of $8,002.

Frost currently holds the 9th position in the PRCA World standings, with season earnings totaling $50,673.77.

Jarboe, ranking at No. 4, followed closely with 174 points and $6,135, while two-time NFR qualifier Trey Holston from Fort Scott, Kans., rounded out the top three with 171.5 points and $4,534.
