The Grand Ole Opry will pay tribute to Johnny Paycheck on May 9, as part of their Opry Country Classics series at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn. 

The tribute will feature performances by Jamey Johnson, William Michael Morgan, The Gatlin Brothers, Georgette Jones, Chris Janson, Johnny PayCheck’s son John PayCheck, and Jesse Keith Whitley, and will be hosted by Larry Gatlin. 

This event will also mark John PayCheck's official Opry debut. He has recently been gaining recognition as a performer and just released a new single, "More Days Behind." 

Born Donald Eugene Lytle, Johnny Paycheck became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1997. His vast contributions to country music, particularly his hits such as "Take This Job and Shove It" and "She's All I Got," make this tribute a fitting homage to his legacy and influence on the genre. 

Paycheck's son's rising career as a performer and the support of renowned artists in the tribute demonstrate Johnny Paycheck's enduring impact and respect within the country music community. 

The Grand Ole Opry continues its tradition of honoring country music legends with this tribute, ensuring that their contributions are celebrated and remembered by new generations of fans.
