The Chicago Blackhawks are getting a big boost Saturday as Taylor Hall returns to the lineup. Hall will be activated off injured reserve and suit up against the Florida Panthers.
The veteran forward has missed the Blackhawks' last three games due to a left shoulder injury he sustained in the second game of the season. Hall initially tried to play through the injury but eventually thought wiser and took some time to heal up.
While he skated with Connor Bedard on the Blackhawks' first line to open the season, it looks like Hall will ease back into the mix. He took reps on the third line with Tyler Jonson and Jason Dickinson during Blackhawks' practice on Friday.
In five games during his first season in Chicago, Hall has two assists while averaging 15:29 of ice time.
The Blackhawks will now embark on what should be an exciting back-to-back weekend slate. It opens with the Panthers visiting the United Center for a 7 PM CT puck drop on Saturday. The game will air on NBC Sports Chicago.
