Bruins prospect Peter Cehlarik takes shot at head coach Bruce Cassidy

It looks like Bruins prospect Peter Cehlarik isn't happy about his situation in Boston, and he took a shot at B's head coach Bruce Cassidy while talking about his displeasure with the organization.

Cehlarik has been hopping between the B's and their AHL affiliate in Providence for a few years now in search of a permanent job with the big club. He hasn't been able to stick with Boston, and he blamed Cassidy for that.

"I can't cross the line to persuade Bruins [coach] Bruce Cassidy for good," Cehlarik, who recorded one helper in three games with the Bruin this year, said, according to 98.5 The Sports Hub's Ty Anderson. "Sometimes I felt as if he was just waiting for my mistake to send me back to the farm.

"They know what they are doing. They've invested years of development in me. It's all about trust from a coach I don't get. I still hear that I'm ready for the NHL, I have it, but when it goes like this, I need a change and a new start. It is high time."

Unfortunately for Cehlarik, there are quite a few players ahead of him in the B's pipeline. It looks like he'll be looking for better opportunities to continue his career overseas.

The 24-year-old had 37 points (16 goals, 21 assists) in 48 games for Providence this season while adding an assist in three games for Boston. If Cassidy really has been a problem in Cehlarik sticking with the big club, it's likely the Slovak has experienced some nervousness in his appearances in Boston.

Cehlarik is a great prospect, but it seems like things just won't work out for him in the Bruins organization.
