After a wild first two games, will we see the same theatrics between Bruins-Panthers?
Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

The Florida Panthers comfortably won Game 2 over the Boston Bruins by a score of 6-1, tying their second-round series at 1-1. The end of the game got quite nasty, with many players from both teams getting into scrums, including a surprising bout between Bruins’ forward David Pastrnak and Panthers’ forward Matthew Tkachuk.

On Friday’s episode of Daily Faceoff LIVE, Frank Seravalli and Tyler Yaremchuk discuss the theatrics from Game 2 and if it will continue in Game 3, which takes place Friday night at 7 p.m. EDT in Boston’s TD Garden.

Tyler Yaremchuk: The Panthers and Bruins are tied 1-1 and going back to Boston for Game 3, and it’s been two blowouts so far. It got real spicy at the end of Game 2-

Frank Seravalli: Sign me up.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Boston so far in these playoffs has played tight, tight games on home ice, and I really think things will tighten up in this series. Part of it will be goaltending, but also I feel like there’s this disdain between the two teams, I think each team got their stinker out of the way, and I think we’ll have a tight series from here on out.

Frank Seravalli: Maybe…

Tyler Yaremchuk: So you’re still leaning on Florida getting the gentlemen’s sweep in?

Frank Seravalli: I think Florida is a significantly better team. That doesn’t mean I think it will be lopsided, because I think the Bruins have shown they have a ton of fight — and quite literally when one of their star players like Pastrnak drops the gloves like he did in Game 2, but for me, I just think Florida overwhelms you with their size, speed, physicality, and the depth factor that makes them special.

That said, with this series being tied, I just really want to see how spicy it gets tonight.
