Which FA-Signed Raider Will Make an Impact on Offense?
USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders, like many other teams, made a lot of moves this offseason, both in NFL Free Agency and the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Raiders signed 16 free agents this offseason, a total of eight freshly signed players for the Raiders' defense and eight signed players for the Raiders' offense.

A question that will soon be answered by the end of the season is, which newly signed free agent on the Raiders will genuinely impact the Raiders' offense?

The Raiders signed four new wide receivers and two new tight ends. The four wide receivers consist of DeAndre Carter, Phillip Dorsett, Jakobi Meyers, and Cam Sims, while the tight ends are Autin Hooper and O.J. Howard.

Wide receivers DeAndre Carter and Jakobi Meyers can both make an impact on the Raiders' offense. They are potential game-changers on an offense that was already explosive.  Their ability, in the McDaniels scheme, has the eyes of the NFL watching the Silver and Black aerial attack.

DeAndre Carter can impact the Raiders' offense and even the Raiders' special teams. As a kick returner, he has returned 111 kickoffs for 2,470 yards in his career. As a punt returner, he has made 110 runbacks and returned them for 1,184 yards. DeAndre Carter has caught 104 passes for 1,120 yards and six touchdowns as a receiver.

Meyers also can impact the Raiders' offense this upcoming season. He has proven to be a valuable wide receiver and could fit in next to All-Pro wide receiver Devante Adams. Last season was the best Meyers had as a wide receiver in his career. He finished with 67 receptions for 804 yards and six touchdowns.

Lastly, Austin Hooper and O.J. This upcoming season, Howard can be a vital option on the Raiders' offense. These tight ends can bring veteran leadership and even mentor rookie Michael Mayer in the Raiders' tight end room.

It will be very interesting to see which of these newly signed free agents for the Raiders offense can make an impact during the 2023-24 NFL season.
