Watch: Steven Sims gives Texans life with 67-yard punt return touchdown

After getting two defensive touchdowns in their 45-14 wild-card win over the Cleveland Browns the Houston Texans were able to add a special teams score on Saturday in their divisional round game against the Baltimore Ravens.

With the Texans trailing, 10-3, midway through the second quarter, Steven Sims took a line-drive punt and ran right through the middle of the Ravens' punt unit for a game-tying touchdown.

Have a look.

Sims only played three games for the Texans during the regular season and returned just four punts.

He did not play a week ago against Cleveland. So getting a game-changing play from him was probably an unexpected development for the Texans. But sometimes you need those sorts of plays from unexpected players to put together the type of surprising season the Texans have.

Sims had never returned a punt for a touchdown in his career, but did have a kickoff return touchdown with Washington during the 2019 season.
