Green Bay Packers receiver Romeo Doubs quietly had just two catches in Sunday’s 19-17 loss to the Denver Broncos, but it was his second one that made plenty of noise.
On a second-and-9 from the Broncos’ 18-yard line, Doubs scored arguably the most impressive touchdown of his career as he wrestled the ball away from Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II in the end zone to pull the Packers to within one score.

It was Doubs’ first touchdown grab since he scored the game-winner against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3 and his team-leading fourth touchdown of the year, which is also a new career-best. Of Jordan Love’s 10 touchdown passes this season, 40% have gone to Doubs.
The 23-year-old had only three touchdown catches in 13 games as a rookie last season; he’s got four in six games this year.
Doubs is on-pace for 11 touchdown catches in 2023, which would mark the most by a Packers receiver since Davante Adams in 2021. He would also be the 10th Packers receiver with 11 or more touchdowns in a single season.
