WATCH: Lamar Jackson does famous Ray Lewis dance at Rookie Premiere
Imitation is the best form of flattery. Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Ravens certainly hope that rookie first-round pick Lamar Jackson dances around defenders sooner rather than later on the football field.

As talented of a quarterback as any in the 2018 NFL Draft, Jackson dazzles with both his arm and his feet. Just ask these college defenders.

Apparently, that’s not limited to the football field. During the 2018 NFLPA Rookie Permiere in Los Angeles on Saturday, Jackson showed off his dance skills. In fact, he mimicked former Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis’ famous Hot in Herre dance.

We’ll let you judge whether it was comparable to Lewis’ moves.

Okay, Ray still did it better.

At the very least, Jackson is embracing the Ravens and their heralded history. That has to be music to the ears of fans in Baltimore.

Well done.
