Watch: C.J. Stroud and Noah Brown Connect For Long Texans Touchdown
Thomas Shea-USA TODAY Sports

The Houston Texans trailed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at halftime on Sunday afternoon, and the Bucs extended their lead to 20-10 to open the second half of play.

It was then, however, that the Texans responded in one of the most dramatic ways possible: a long touchdown pass.

Quarterback C.J. Stroud connected with wide receiver Noah Brown for a 75-yard score on the ensuing possession, good for Brown's longest catch of the day and giving him the lead in receiving yards for the team on Sunday.

You can watch the play below.

Things got off to the right start for Houston early on, with C.J. Stroud leading the Texans down the field and capping the drive off with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Nico Collins.

From there though, things began to run dry for the Texans' offense, particularly in the run game, where they managed just seven yards on seven carries in the absence of Dameon Pierce.

Stroud meanwhile, had not had an easy go of it either, but had been productive in the first half, completing 15 of 23 passes for 157 yards and the Collins touchdown. He was also hit four times and sacked twice in two quarters.

All of that went out the window, however, on this play early in the third quarter, and perhaps this will establish some momentum for Houston as it looks to mount the comeback at home.
