Watch: Bengals QB Joe Burrow shows frustration on the sidelines after suffering wrist injury vs. Ravens on 'TNF'

The Cincinnati Bengals may have a massive problem on their hands.

Quarterback Joe Burrow left the Bengals matchup against the Baltimore Ravens with a wrist injury near the end of the first half on "Thursday Night Football." He showed obvious frustration on the sidelines after he could not grip a football to throw it, shaking his head disgustedly before heading to the locker room.

The Bengals star underwent X-rays on his injured wrist, and the team officially designated him as questionable to return. Burrow wasn't listed on the Bengals injury report, though the wrist injury doesn't appear to be new. He was spotted wearing a brace or wrap on the wrist of his throwing hand as he exited the team bus ahead of Thursday's game. However, another shot of Burrow later showed him walking in the locker room area sans a wrap or brace on the wrist.

If the Bengals have to go on without Burrow for the foreseeable future, they'll have to turn to backup Jake Browning. The 27-year-old went undrafted out of Washington in 2018 and took his first professional snap in Week 1.

In relief of Burrow before halftime, Browning completed 2-of-4 pass attempts for 19 yards.
