Vikings sign 2 offensive linemen, bring in RB for workout
USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Vikings were busy making transactions on Thursday, signing a pair of offensive linemen and working out a free agent running back.

The team formally announced that it has signed offensive tackles Christian DiLauro and Jarrid Wiliams. To make room on the 90-man training camp roster they released offensive guard Bobby Evans.

Both DiLauro and Williams entered the NFL as undrafted free agents, DiLauro in 2021 and Williams in 2022. The Vikings are the eighth team DiLauro has spent time with, having previously made stops with the Browns, 49ers, Texans, Steelers, Titans, Commanders and Broncos.

Williams was a practice squad player with the Eagles and Lions last season.

DiLauro is from the University of Illinois. Williams played seven years of college ball, making stops at Houston and Miami.

The Vikings are also reportedly working out running back Jacques Patrick.

Patrick was Dalvin Cook's backup at Florida State in 2015 and 2016. His post-college career has included stops with numerous teams in the NFL, primarily as a practice squad player, while also starring last season in the XFL with the San Antonio Brahmas
