Video evidence proves Eagles wronged
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles' 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night could have been a different outcome if the final ruling on the field matched the replay tape.

The Eagles' last offensive drive of the game ended abruptly after Seahawks' safety Julian Love intercepted quarterback Jalen Hurts' deep ball pass intended for wide receiver A.J. Brown.

The play went under review to see if Love's toe tapped the ground before going out of bounds.

The ruling on the field stood as an interception and the Seahawks sealed their victory.

However, a new angle of the catch clearly shows that Love's toe did, in fact, not touch the ground in bounds.

Whether or not an overturned call on the play would have made a huge difference for the Eagles is something we'll never know.

But what we do know is that the Eagles were robbed of a potential comeback win, thanks to the officials.
