The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, once again, played a close game against the Atlanta Falcons this season. Last time around, the Buccaneers fell short as the Falcons won the game 16-13.
This game also provided much more points than the first matchup. Both offenses were slow to get any real points on the board, but the back-and-forth second half led to this game hitting the over, which was set at 41.5 points before the game.
Mayfield had gotten fired up in the second half after scoring a touchdown midway through the third. He also led his team to a field goal after that, narrowly falling short on a touchdown for that drive.
Down 25-22, the Buccaneers and Baker Mayfield had time to either tie the game with a field goal or take the lead. The 2:52 drive finished with Mayfield finding Cade Otton in the end zone with 31 seconds on the clock.

The Falcons had one last attempt to win the game, trailing 29-25, but ultimately couldn't get the ball into the end zone as the time expired with the Falcons getting down to the three-yard line.
The Buccaneers held off the Falcons after a game-winning drive from Mayfield, giving them the reigns atop the NFC South and in a good position to potentially make a strong playoff push as the season winds down.
