Veteran reveals 'team to beat' in AFC North

The AFC North has become one of the most competitive divisions in the league. Although it feels like every team has a shot at winning it, one veteran believes there's a top contender.

"For me, man, I'm not just saying this because I've been there, but just looking at everything and all the draft that they have done this past year," offensive lineman Chris Hubbard said on "Good Morning Football." "They've added so many weapons on that team, and I just feel like the Browns have what it takes to be a top contender."

Hubbard may be a little biased, but he has played for the Browns (2018-22) and the Steelers (2013-17) during his 10-year career.

Cleveland has certainly been productive this offseason, despite not having a first or second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Browns made two trades for WR Elijah Moore and DE Za'Darius Smith and signed multiple free agents, including DT Dalvin Tomlinson, DE Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and S Juan Thornhill. They also found good value in the draft, adding players such as WR Cedric Tillman, DT Siaki Ika and OT Dawand Jones.

Of course, teams don't win games on paper. So, Cleveland will need to figure it all out on the field, but the Browns feel like they have all the pieces to be a top contender.

The Bengals are the favorites to win the AFC North, followed by the Ravens and then the Browns. But Hubbard thinks Cleveland is being overlooked.

"It's a powerhouse, man," Hubbard added. "I really feel like it's a real powerhouse."
