Tyreek Hill Shares Major Reaction To Chiefs’ Super Bowl
Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Tyreek Hill witnessed the Kansas City Chiefs clinch back-to-back Super Bowl victories after his departure, yet there’s no trace of bitterness in his sentiments.

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver openly shared his reaction following the Chiefs’ triumph on Sunday in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers, his former team.

“My brothers win it again proud of them boys. Even more motivation for us in Miami.”

Despite parting ways, the six-time All-Pro Hill extended his appreciation to ex-teammate Mecole Hardman, who secured the game-winning touchdown, as well as to quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid.

Originally a product of the Chiefs, Hill was drafted by Kansas City in 2016 and honed his skills during his six-year tenure with the team. He ascended to the ranks of elite NFL receivers and contributed significantly to the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV victory in the 2019 season.

However, amidst contract negotiations seeking a more lucrative deal, Kansas City traded him to the Miami Dolphins ahead of the 2022 season, leading to Hill signing a four-year, $120 million extension with his new team.

Since parting ways with Hill, the Chiefs have secured consecutive Lombardi Trophies, with Mahomes relying more heavily on established players like Hardman, Travis Kelce, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, alongside newcomers such as Justin Watson and Rashee Rice.

Meanwhile, Tyreek Hill has become the highest-paid wide receiver in the league and appears to be relishing his time in Miami. It’s safe to conclude that both parties have fared quite well following their separation.
