Two Key Browns Defenders Listed As Questionable For Week 12

At 7-3 the Cleveland Browns continue to battle injuries on their quest for a postseason berth. With a number of offensive starters out or the season already, now it's the defense dealing with uncertainty with a few key positions.

As Cleveland wrapped up the week of practice ahead of its matchup with the Denver Broncos, the team listed veteran linebacker Anthony Walker as questionable. Walker has been battling a hamstring ailment, suffered in last week's win over the Steelers.

Meanwhile, after missing the Steelers game with a calf injury, safety Juan Thornhill joins Walker with a questionable status. The former Chief sustained his injury against the Ravens in Week 10.

Thornhill's potential absence looms particularly large considering that Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward has already been ruled out for Sunday. Ward is dealing with a shoulder injury at the moment and could miss multiple weeks of action.

Not only that, but the team placed veteran safety Rodney McLeod on the IR earlier in the week, leaving rookie Ronnie Hickman and second-year man D'Anthony Bell as the remaining backups at the position to Thornhill and fellow starter Grant Delpit.

Along with Ward, wide receiver Marquise Goodwin has been ruled out as well. He remains in the concussion protocol after suffering a hit to the head in Week 9.

On a positive note, the Browns did activate linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk off the IR this week and he's been listed as questionable for the team's trip to Denver.

Additionally, Cleveland saw tackle Dawand Jones practice fully on both Thursday and Friday after battling a knee injury and playing limited snaps against Pittsburgh.

With kickoff set for 4:05 EST on Sunday, the official status on the questionable Browns will be revealed 90 minutes ahead of time.
