Patrick Mahomes passed "Monday Night Football" color analyst Troy Aikman for most career touchdowns on Monday. Viewers wouldn't have known that watching the game.
So unfortunate that this wasn’t mentioned by the guys calling the game last night. pic.twitter.com/50WNNmv6XU

Mahomes passed Aikman on the career touchdowns thrown list when he threw No.166 to tight end Travis Kelce in his 68th career game. Aikman threw 165 touchdowns in 165 games.
The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback didn't remark on Mahomes' milestone, and Aikman's silence spoke volumes to viewers watching at home.
How do you have Troy Aikman in the booth and you don't mention that Patrick Mahomes passed him on the career TD list?

The fact that Patrick Mahomes could pass the first ballot Hall of famer Troy Aikman in career touchdown passes on Monday night is an absolutely absurd stat to think about!#ChiefsKingdom

Aikman made headlines in 2019 when he sent a snarky reply to a tweet reporting Mahomes had "thrown 36% of Troy Aikman's career touchdowns, in about 8% of the games."

Mahomes led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl victory that season. Aikman finished his career with three.
If Mahomes is looking for a pat on the back from Aikman, he'll have to wait.
The Chiefs don't play again on Monday night this season.
