Trent Brown on career with Raiders: 'I guess you could say it wasn't a good fit'

Trent Brown began his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers in 2015, but he didn't blossom until 2018 when he joined the New England Patriots.

After the 2018 campaign, he cashed in on a four-year, $66 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. His career regressed in Las Vegas, where he only appeared in 16 games in two seasons.

Brown rejoined the Patriots this offseason via trade and he discussed his Raiders career with reporters on Wednesday, saying, "I guess you could say it wasn't a good fit," per WEEI's Ryan Hannable.

Brown appeared in just five games last season after spending weeks on the reserve/COVID list after testing positive for the coronavirus. He also missed time due to a calf injury and IV mishap, which resulted in hospitalization.

He's hoping he gets his career back on track in New England, where he's "glad to be back."
