'TNF' best bets: Great prices on props for Chargers-Raiders

Week 15 in the NFL gets started with the QB matchup you've all been clamoring for: Easton Stick vs. Aidan O'Connell. No, no, Easton Stick is not a paid ad from our local sporting goods provider, that would be the Chargers quarterback tonight. This game has an incredibly low under. However, both defenses have significant vulnerabilities, which has us wanting to take some shots on this Thursday night game.

'TNF' is worth getting excited for: There's prop value

Jakobi Meyers touchdown (+370 FanDuel)

The Chargers have a whole host of issues in their secondary, which should conceivably open some doors for Las Vegas here. We know the Raiders just got shut out, but all that is doing is giving us some absolutely fantastic prices on TD props.

Los Angeles has allowed the fifth-highest yards per pass attempt, the fourth-most passing yards per game, and most importantly, the fifth-most touchdowns per game to WRs.

Welcome in Jakobi Meyers, who has scored six touchdowns on the year. Meyers is WR2 behind Davante Adams, but Adams missed Wednesday's practice with an illness. Even if he goes, this price is far too good to pass up on.

Austin Ekeler over 4.5 receptions (+120 ESPN)

Keenan Allen is out for this one, and when he's been absent from the offense, Austin Ekeler has typically picked up the slack in the passing game. Over the last seven games sans Allen, Ekeler has averaged 7.29 receptions/game, finishing with 6+ catches six times. He's recorded five, four and five receptions in his past three against Las Vegas, and with Stick at quarterback, it's not hard to imagine him checking it down to Ekeler with the lack of established talent around him. The Raiders have allowed the 12th-most receptions/game to RBs.

In the news ...

Draymond Green suspended indefinitely — A day after Draymond Green threw a punch at Jusuf Nurkic, the NBA has drawn the line, suspending the Golden State Warriors forward indefinitely. Tuesday's actions were just the latest in a long string of incidents for Green, and according to the announcement, he will be undergoing counseling with the league's supervision, and only after certain stipulations are met can he return to the court. The Warriors currently own the fifth-worst record in the Western Conference and are -125 to miss the playoffs.

Giannis drops career-high 64 points in win over Pacers — The highest total of the season paid off yesterday between the Bucks and Pacers, headlined by Giannis Antetokounmpo dropping 64 points, a career-best. There were some heated exchanges afterward, as the Pacers took the game ball back to the locker room, prompting Giannis to run them down and get into it with Tyrese Haliburton. These two teams will meet again on New Year's Day. We just set a reminder to bet Giannis's over, might we recommend you do the same?
